'Pull Your Weight' is the creation of Richard, a local Peninsula resident and caravan enthusiast who, along with his family, have enjoyed many, many hours on the road across Victoria and further afield. On one such recent trip, a casual stop at a roadside weighbridge led to the shocking realisation that he was exceeding the maximum towing capacity of his vehicle.

After safely returning from this trip Richard thought "Why tow your caravan, or anything else for that matter, to a public weighbridge in order to check for weight compliance when it could already be overloaded?" You may well end up at a weighbridge, by the side of the road, legally having to loose weight from your van, trailer or car.

A far better option would be for people to load up their vans with everything they'll need for a trip (right down to filling the water tank and throwing in the kids bikes!) and having the entire rig weighed for compliance BEFORE setting off on a trip. If you're overweight then simply loose the excessive kilos by leaving things at home.

This is where 'Pull Your Weight' comes in. We will come to your preferred location (home, work, storage facility, etc) and, using calibrated high quality Italian made mobile weighing scales, weigh each axle and tow ball weight and providing an official certificate of weight. The customer then signs the certificate, agreeing that the rig was the specified weight at the exact date & time on the certificate, indicating compliance (or not) with the manufactures towing capacities of both vehicle and trailer.
